Tips to Improve your eCommerce websites

eCommerce means buying and selling of products or services over electronic systems such as the Internet and other computer networks.

Here are some tips for you to improve your product pages on your e-commerce websites:

Use Conversation

Conversations are everywhere. For SEO, for traffic, for increase in sales, there are always conversation.
You have to tell your customers to "buy something!". You also have to say "trust me!", or "log in!".
Don't be afraid to write them bold.

Don't forget to display related Products

To sell more is not only to sell, but also to have the customer continuously. If you want this, you have to gain the whole attention of your customers.
Use "related products" blocks on every product page.
If it's hard for you to relate them, use CMS, but relate them.

Show Less, Give More

You have to have all the information that your customers need. But, what if it is so long?
Here's the thing. Use tabs, pop-ups and galleries.

Allow Them to Comment

Everybody wants to be important. So, everybody wants you to listen to them as a customer.
Comments are the simplest and the most effective way to listen to your customers. Allow them to comment on everywhere, about everything.
At least you'll not as sad as you used to be.

Show them site is Trustworthy

If you want to buy something on the internet, you always worry about safety of your information. So do they.
If you want to sell something on the internet, you have to prove your trustworthy.
The best way to do this is to use the SSL information.
Use it on your header and your footer.

Let them Look

Information is cool. Images are cooler. Big images are more cooler.
360-degree product animations are much more cooler.

Think about them. If you can use it, customers will surely want to check it out!

Tell Them to Share

Remember what Walt Disney said: "bring their friends".

How can they bring their friends? Yes, via social media.

Any website which allows user to share their content, opinions, views and encourages interaction and community building can be classified as a social media. Some popular social media sites are: Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Digg, MySpace, StumbleUpon, Del.icio.us, Scribd, Flickr  etc.
