Procedure to get passports from PSK (Passport Seva Kendra)

Any doubts check under ‘Passport Process’ in www.passportindia.gov.in
1) Log on to the new website www.passportindia.gov.in
2) Should create a user ID and password
3) Download e-form (application) fill it and upload
4) Must note the 10 digit ARN Number
5) Then you should click on the ‘appointment’ link
6) Choose the date, time and book the appointment
7) You must arrive at Passport Seva Kendra 30 minutes prior to the appointment
8) You should bring all the original documents and xerox copies of certificates.
9) If you have any problems in applying online, please contact Toll free no: 1800 258 1800.

The website keeps saying Appointment slots are not available. Is there anything specific we need to do to get around this? Are there a specific number of appointments being given on the portal each day??
My dob:26/04/1991.
Is there any need of birth certificate to get passport?
I belongs to YSR(kadapa) District, Tirupathi region.
Is there any need that the the age will have 21 years to apply passport?

I have renewed my passport through this new system and got it in 7 working days.
Later I applied new passport for my wife which took exactly 3 months.
I am sure their is delay from Police Verification, because I got in mine with in 7 days coz verification was not happend.
Still new system eleminates middle men :)
1. You just need to carry original documents & cash of Rs.1000
2. When you see Appointment slots are not available. You need to login next day to check for available slots. By the way you can book the slots only after 7.30pm.
3. In some cases passport officers might ask you for additional documents. Please call the Call Center to find more details.
4. If you miss any documents you can come back again on sametime very next day.
Type in all the details including the word verification and click the submit button exactly at 4.00 PM 5 seconds, i would suggest open this website to track the time

I was able to get appt with this technique I was successful in my first attempt.
If any one want to book your passport online appointment, kindly send your ID & PWD to me, i can book it for any area PSK in India. Am not an agent. Am doing few projects as WORK FROM HOME basis.

Please don't choose Ameerpet mini passport seva kendra. It's worst than all other mini seva kendra's. Most of the employees who works in that office they don't know rules and they simply don't accept the applications at all.
OOOhh my God please help poor people(Workers) who are going to kuwait/dubai because they are going to get food.Save them and passport officers punish them .........I am requesting you GODDDDDD....
I am srija, I want to apply passport under fresh as i already applied my passport under tatkal and got reject due to insufficient documents i have few doubts to apply passport under fresh
1.Currently i am working in Hyderabad and staying in a hostel my native place Nizamabad when filling address details in online where can i give my hostel address do we need to select present address different from permanent address and need to fill the hostel address there
Any documents/proofs required related to hostel ?
Or is the hostel address details not required ? and just can i select current address same as permanent address i'll give only permannet address is it ok if i do like this ?
